Wagusu Complex Academy in Wagusu, Kenya is successful because of the amazing efforts of our partner nonprofit, KVCDP. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and missionaries, a wonderful school has been built that currently serves 123 children in the community. 
 
The school began in 2010 as a preschool (or daycare) for younger children. It has since been expanded to a primary level school and serves pre-K to 6th grade. Wagusu Complex Academy is one of the best schools in the area, and we are proud to partner with them. Local public schools have as many as 90 students in a classroom. The small classroom sizes at our school allow for a much more productive learning environment for our students. The teachers are loving, caring and dedicated. They truly love teaching, and our kids are excited to come to school and learn.

Jackie is the founder of KVCDP and Wagusu Complex Academy. She supervises all our operations overseas and is our primary contact for all information. Jackie is a valuable asset to our team. SALT helps the school through student sponsorships (see sponsorship tab) by providing supplies, teaching English, leading Bible studies, building relationships with the children and other specific tasks as requested.
