Margaret has served as the chef for Wagusu Complex Academy, SALT of Africa, and KVCDP for over 10 years. During our 2025 trip, she shared that her grandchild, Mary Teresa, is experiencing frightening episodes of tongue swelling. During these episodes, she is unable to eat, drink, or speak comfortably.

Thankfully, there is a surgery that can help bring her relief and prevent these dangerous episodes from continuing. The procedure is available, but the cost is more than her family can manage alone. We need to raise $1,800 to cover the surgery and travel expenses so she can finally get the care she deserves.
